A broader way to think about fatigue and brain fog
Fatigue is a symptom, not a diagnosis. A thoughtful first review keeps several reasonable possibilities open.
Demo education for client review. This is not medical advice and does not replace a clinician.
Possible areas to discuss
Thyroid function, iron status, vitamin D and other nutrient patterns, sleep, stress, medication effects, mood, infection history, and metabolic factors may all deserve context.
What the assistant can do
The intake can organize the complaint, duration, impact, and relevant history so the MD starts with a clearer story. It should not decide the diagnosis.
What the MD decides
The clinician chooses whether labs, a specialist opinion, a lifestyle experiment, or a follow-up review is the safest next step.
